About Ed

With a career spanning three decades, Ed Gerety has delivered his powerful message to audiences in all 50 United States and throughout Canada, positively impacting over 3 million individuals.

As the author of “SHINE YOUR LIGHT” and “Combinations: Opening the Door to Student Leadership”, Ed is recognized for his unique ability to connect with the hearts and minds of his audience. In addition, he is the founder and host of the highly regarded podcast ‘Parents Navigating the Teen Years,’ which addresses crucial issues facing parents and teenagers today. His online multimedia program, ‘Stand Up for Your Greatness,’ is widely utilized in middle schools and high schools across North America, guiding students to strengthen their leadership skills.

A graduate of the University of New Hampshire, Ed earned his B.A. degree in Communications. During his junior year in college, he started his own business as an inspirational speaker and leadership trainer. He served on the Board of Directors for the National Speakers Association (NSA) for six years. His expertise has earned him the prestigious Certified Speaking Professional (CSP™) designation, an honor held by less than 10% of speakers in the International Federation of Professional Speakers.

Ed has completed the Boston Marathon three times and earned his 200-hour yoga teacher certification. He resides in New Hampshire on the seacoast with his wife Suzanne, their children Ryan and Shannon, their golden retriever Gracie, two cats named Sugar and Coco, and a bearded dragon named Trevor.
